MAURIGI – Il segreto della materia, dell’eros e del silenzio

The Museo Civico di Caprino Veronese dedicates an exhibition to Amedeo Maurigi (1895-1974), a self-taught and solitary artist who in life refused to exhibit his works, choosing silence. The exhibition, titled 'MAURIGI – Il segreto della materia, dell’eros e del silenzio', reveals his pictorial universe to the public for the first time through the three themes that marked his entire production. The inauguration is scheduled for Friday, July 31, 2026 at 5:30 PM in the Council Hall of Palazzo Carlotti. For the entire day, museum entry will be free. The exhibition will remain open until September 20, 2026, with extended hours during the Fiera Montebaldina (July 31 - August 3).
Antica Festa di San Bartolomeo

The Ancient Feast of San Bartolomeo takes place in Pazzon, a hamlet of Caprino Veronese, from 20 to 23 August 2026. The event, organized by the Organizing Committee of the parish of Saints Vito, Modesto and Crescenza, enlivens Piazza Don Roncari with moments of celebration and gathering. For the occasion, the square will be closed to vehicular traffic from 6:00 PM to midnight on 20, 21 and 22 August, and from 7:00 AM to midnight on 23 August.
