On Thursday 10 December 2026, the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Gruaro will host the thirteenth edition of the active citizenship celebration dedicated to young people who come of age during the year. The newly turned eighteen-year-olds will receive a copy of the Italian Constitution and the Italian flag, in a moment designed to raise their awareness of the responsibilities and rights that come with being citizens. Institutional figures and representatives of local volunteer associations will take part in the ceremony; there will also be a space for the presentation of the newly elected Children's and Youth Municipal Council (CCRR). After the institutional moment, a short convivial gathering open to socialising will follow. The initiative is organised by the Municipality of Gruaro and is aimed at young people born in 2008, their families and the entire community.
