Presentation of the book "Sammy"
Sala Agricoltura - Corte Benedettina, Legnaro
Organised by Comune di Legnaro
On Tuesday 24 November 2026 at 9 pm, in the Sala Agricoltura of the Corte Benedettina in Legnaro, the book "Sammy" will be presented, written by Laura Lucchin and Amerigo Basso, Sammy Basso's parents. The meeting retraces the story of Sammy Basso (1995-2024), who was affected by progeria, and his life lesson. The volume gathers the memories of family members, friends and collaborators: not a celebratory biography, but a series of close voices that bring back the person behind the illness, amid scientific commitment, curiosity and everyday relationships. The presentation is open to those who have followed his story and to those meeting it for the first time. The appointment is part of the LibriAMoci... Legnaro in corte 2026 series and is organised by the Comune di Legnaro.
Time: 21:00 Meeting with the authors Laura Lucchin and Amerigo Basso, 9.00 pm. Sala Agricoltura, Corte Benedettina, Legnaro (PD). The event is part of the LibriAMoci... Legnaro in corte 2026 series, scheduled from 6 to 29 November 2026. For information: ufficio cultura del Comune di Legnaro, 049 8838991, cultura@comune.legnaro.pd.it.
