AMONG THE FACES OF HISTORY
Sala Consiliare Comune di Longare
A series of three meetings curated by Prof. Elis Rossi to rediscover great personalities of the past who broke the rules of their time. The first appointment, on October 20, 2026, is dedicated to Francis of Assisi: 800 years after his death, we retrace his story beyond the religious aspect, analyzing how his thought shook the social and economic structures of the time. The second meeting, on November 17, 2026, presents Clare of Assisi and her determination in medieval society. The last one, on January 19, 2027, focuses on Gracia Nasi, a Renaissance figure of exceptional courage and economic and diplomatic power.
