Twenty years after his death, Marano Vicentino dedicates a widespread series of events to Terenzio Sartore, a scholar and essayist who deeply investigated the rural civilization of the Val Leogra. The title "Il Giardino Planetario" recalls his vision of the landscape as an intertwining of nature, time, and human work. The program opens on October 16 at the Centro Verdi with two photographic exhibitions curated by the Research Group on Rural Civilization: one retraces fifty years of transformations in the valley (1976–2026), the other introduces the figure of Sartore. In the following months, conferences, a show, public readings, a concert, and an excursion with schools alternate, also touching Vicenza with a meeting at the Biblioteca La Vigna. All events are free admission and distributed among the Centro Verdi, the Municipal Auditorium, the Civic Library (which will be named after Sartore on October 17), and the Cinema Campana.
