The Municipality of Pastrengo participates in the widespread cultural project "Storia e Memoria nelle Regioni di Fortezza", which networks five municipalities to enhance the Risorgimento heritage. In Pastrengo, the focus is on long-distance communications, with an event dedicated to the optical station and a guided tour "Sul campo degli eroi" connecting the battlefield, the heliograph tower, and the fort. The program also includes educational interventions in schools to introduce young people to local history. The initiative is part of a broader cultural itinerary involving the municipalities of Borgo Virgilio, Ponti sul Mincio, Curtatone, and Sommacampagna, with support from the Province of Mantua and the Associazione Napoleonica d'Italia.
