Il 30 luglio 2026 la staffetta ciclistica non competitiva "Insieme per non dimenticare il 2 agosto 1980" attraversa il territorio di San Giovanni Lupatoto. L'evento prevede una breve cerimonia di accoglienza sotto la torre dell'acquedotto in piazza Umberto I. Il percorso tocca diverse vie cittadine prima di proseguire verso Buttapietra.
Dalle ore 11:00 del 30 luglio 2026 fino al termine della manifestazione sono previste interruzioni "a vista" del traffico sulle strade interessate. I veicoli al seguito della staffetta sono autorizzati a sostare nella zona a traffico limitato di piazza Umberto I (antistante il civico 60).
