On Saturday 7 November 2026, the Biblioteca Comunale di Vedelago, in Piazza Martiri della Libertà 1, hosts a practical workshop on reading aloud designed for parents and their children. The meeting aims to show how much reading matters in relationships, in cognitive and linguistic development and in understanding different emotional states. Two guided dialogic reading sessions are planned, divided by age group: one for children from 0 to 12 months, from 9.15 to 10.15, and one for those from 12 to 36 months, from 10.30 to 11.30, involving parents, grandparents or caregivers. The sessions are led by professionals from the Associazione Nandù. The initiative is promoted by the Comune di Vedelago together with the other municipalities of the Ambito Territoriale Sociale VEN_08. The workshops are free, but registration is mandatory via QR code and places are limited.
