Cinemoving 2026 - Open Air Cinema

Cinemoving 2026, the traveling film festival of the Municipality of Venice, returns from June to September with over 60 free screenings. The festival opens on June 26 at the Serra dei Giardini in Castello and continues every Friday until July 31. In August and September, it reaches neighborhoods such as Gazzera, Favaro, Campalto, Rione Pertini, Ca' Noghera, Tessera, and Malcontenta. On the Lido, for seven Thursdays from July 9 to August 20, the beach hosts the 'Al Lido in spiaggia, uno sguardo all'orizzonte' series. The audience watches the screenings directly on the sand. In the city, the fixed arena at Campo San Polo and the equipped van reach green areas and public parks, with attention to less served neighborhoods.
S.P.R.I.N.T. 2026 – Minicorsi sportivi per anziani e disabili

From July 3 to September 30, the free mini-courses of motor and sports activities of the S.P.R.I.N.T. project (Sport, Participation, Relationship and Inclusion in the Territory), promoted by the Municipality of Venice, return. The initiative, launched in 2023, is designed to encourage the participation of elderly people and people with disabilities, with proposals for adapted physical activity in various locations around the city. Lessons are held in parks, multi-purpose courts and public spaces in Venice, Mestre and the islands, offering opportunities for movement and socialization outdoors.
Works for Tessera-Campalto cycle path

Extension of the ordinance for excavation works, installation of box culverts, construction of an embankment and new bus stop for the cycle path from Tessera to Campalto. Traffic changes on Via Orlanda (km 6+050 to km 6+200, between civic numbers 175 and 189/B) opposite the Campalto cemetery, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Regata degli Alberoni

Competizione remiera tradizionale veneziana dedicata ai giovani e giovanissimi vogatori, con barche tipiche come Schie, Maciarelle junior e senior. La manifestazione si svolge nella darsena degli Alberoni, sul Canale Rocchetta, con ormeggio riservato alle imbarcazioni partecipanti e ai mezzi di supporto e sorveglianza.
Slow Down, Breathe, Participate

On Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Ristoro al Parco in the Bosco di Mestre, a day of meeting and solidarity organized by the Fondazione Fratelli Dimenticati will take place. From 9 a.m. until late evening, the foundation's space will offer activities for children and teenagers, games and workshops, lunch, aperitif, and dinner, all accompanied by music. It will be possible to learn about the supported projects, visit a photo exhibition, and participate in meetings and testimonies. The event is open to everyone and invites you to slow down, breathe, and actively participate.
IL MUSEO NAVALE DI VENEZIA - An exclusive tour

An exclusive tour through the spaces of the Naval Historical Museum of Venice, in the Castello district. Guided by an expert, you discover ship models, memorabilia and a rich collection that tell the story of the maritime power of the Serenissima and the history of the Italian Navy, from the Bucintoro to the submarines. The tour lasts about two hours and also allows access to areas normally not open to the public.
Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari - Guided Tour

41st Season of Symphonic and Chamber Music of Mestre “È sempre una bella stagione” 2026/2027

The Teatro Toniolo in Mestre hosts the 41st edition of the season “È sempre una bella stagione”, dedicated to chamber and symphonic music. Organized by the Associazione Amici della Musica di Mestre E.T.S. together with the Municipality of Venice, the series offers from October 2026 to May 2027 eleven subscription concerts and two non-subscription concerts, with high-profile Italian and international artists. Under the artistic direction of Mario Brunello, the program intertwines memory and innovation and includes tributes to Giuseppe Sinopoli and Ludwig van Beethoven. Alongside established names, young concert performers find space, in a journey that enhances the great chamber and symphonic tradition. The theater, a cultural reference point for Mestre and Venice, welcomes the audience in an intimate and acoustically refined environment. The variety of programs and the quality of the performers make the season an eagerly awaited event for enthusiasts and an opportunity to approach live music.

Il Circuito Cinema del Comune di Venezia organizza anche quest'anno il decentramento della Mostra del Cinema di Venezia a Mestre, con la rassegna "Circuito Cinema in Mostra 2026". Le proiezioni si terranno dal 3 al 13 settembre 2026 presso le sale 1 e 2 dell'IMG Cinemas Candiani a Mestre, con servizi di proiezione, controllo accessi e biglietteria. L'iniziativa porta i film della Mostra del Cinema anche nella terraferma veneziana.
