Massimo Recalcati, psychoanalyst and essayist, gives the lectio magistralis "L'Amore malato" at the Teatro Alle Stimate in Verona on Friday 6 November 2026 at 6.30 pm. At the centre of the meeting is the theme of gender-based violence and the silence that still too often surrounds it, with the invitation to break it and talk about it openly. The event is part of the calendar of initiatives promoted by the Assessorato alla Parità di Genere of the Comune di Verona on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on 25 November 2026. The lectio is open to all citizens and admission is free until seats are filled.
