The Basilica Palladiana in Vicenza hosts the first stage of the three-year cycle 'Inspiration Europe' with the exhibition 'Italy Germany. Painting and Sculpture between the 19th and 20th Centuries. From Canova to Kiefer'. Curated by Gabriella Belli and Valerio Terraroli, the exhibition brings together nearly 150 works including paintings, sculptures and photographs, offering a look at over two centuries of cultural dialogue between Italy and Germany. The exhibition itinerary spans the 19th and 20th centuries, highlighting how the exchange between artists, intellectuals and designers fueled European modernity. Among the featured masters are Antonio Canova, Giorgio de Chirico, Umberto Boccioni, Otto Dix, Wassily Kandinsky and Anselm Kiefer. The exhibition is realized with the special collaboration of the Mart in Rovereto, the Museo Gypsotheca Antonio Canova in Possagno and the Casa di Goethe in Rome, and is under the patronage of the German Embassy on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the resumption of diplomatic relations between Italy and Germany.

Domenica 26 luglio 2026, in Piazza dei Signori a Vicenza, si terrà il concerto sinfonico-corale "Messa da Requiem" di Giuseppe Verdi, diretto dal Maestro Giuliano Fracasso. L'evento prevede l'allestimento di un palco di 12x12 metri sul lato ovest della piazza. Le operazioni di montaggio inizieranno nella mattinata del 26 luglio, mentre lo smontaggio partirà subito dopo il concerto e si concluderà entro la mattinata di lunedì 27 luglio.
