Due to the overlap with the 2026 Living Chess Game (Partita a Scacchi a personaggi viventi), the weekly Tuesday market and the antiques, used goods, and collectibles market on the first Sunday of the month are temporarily relocated to Via Pizzamano, Via Prospero Alpino, and Via Campo Marzio. The relocation is in effect from August 18 to September 22, 2026. The first-Sunday market will also be held on Sunday, September 6, 2026, in the same streets, with extended hours until 8:00 PM.
Sagra di San Bortolo 2026

The traditional Sagra di San Bortolo returns to Crosara, a hamlet of Marostica. Three evenings of celebration in the square with music, food stalls and moments of togetherness. On Friday 21 and Saturday 22 August, the festival will continue until 1:00 AM, while on Sunday 23 August it will end at 11:00 PM.
Partita a Scacchi a Personaggi Viventi 2026

The Living Chess Game returns to Marostica for the 2026 edition. Over 650 performers in Renaissance costumes bring to life on the marble chessboard of Piazza Castello the legendary challenge between Rinaldo d'Angarano and Vieri da Vallonara, who in 1454 competed for the hand of the beautiful Lionora. The show blends theater, music, and choreography: flag-wavers, knights, ladies, jesters, and fire-eaters animate the square as the moves are announced aloud and the characters move across the chessboard squares, surrounded by a historically accurate procession of great visual impact. The event takes place every two years and attracts thousands of spectators.

Il mercato agricolo di Marostica si tiene ogni giovedì mattina dalle 8:00 alle 13:00 nel parcheggio di Piazzale Stazione. Qui gli imprenditori agricoli locali vendono direttamente i loro prodotti a chilometro zero, garantendo freschezza e qualità a prezzi equi.
