The initiative runs from June 13 to September 12, 2026, and rewards children who read the most books during the summer with book/stationery vouchers for the winners and gifts for all participants. The final award ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026. The goal is to promote reading among young people, involving children in a cultural and recreational activity during the summer period.

The Sagra di San Lorenzo is the patron saint festival of Pianezze, a small town in the province of Vicenza that celebrates its saint every year around August 10th. The 2026 edition takes place from August 7th to 10th, with four evenings of music, dancing, and food under a covered structure, ensuring the event goes on even in case of rain. The food stand opens every evening at 7:00 PM and offers traditional dishes: porchetta, grilled meat, fried fish, gnocchi, cod with polenta, and local wine. The program alternates between youth nights with a DJ, country music, tribute bands, and ballroom dancing, culminating in the fireworks display on Monday evening. The festival combines religious and social moments: on Monday, August 10th, the day of Saint Lawrence, there is a Holy Mass with a procession, followed by dinner at the stand and fireworks at 11:00 PM.
