The Sagra di San Lorenzo is the patron saint festival of Pianezze, a small town in the province of Vicenza that celebrates its saint every year around August 10th. The 2026 edition takes place from August 7th to 10th, with four evenings of music, dancing, and food under a covered structure, ensuring the event goes on even in case of rain. The food stand opens every evening at 7:00 PM and offers traditional dishes: porchetta, grilled meat, fried fish, gnocchi, cod with polenta, and local wine. The program alternates between youth nights with a DJ, country music, tribute bands, and ballroom dancing, culminating in the fireworks display on Monday evening. The festival combines religious and social moments: on Monday, August 10th, the day of Saint Lawrence, there is a Holy Mass with a procession, followed by dinner at the stand and fireworks at 11:00 PM.
Hours: 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM Every day from 7:00 PM opening of the food stand. Friday 7th: youth night with porchetta and Andrea Martini on the decks. Saturday 8th: grilled meat specialty and country night with Luka and Nike. Sunday 9th: community lunch by reservation (340 5601284 - 338 6743632), fish night and tribute band Rock Star (Vasco Rossi). Monday 10th: Holy Mass with procession, food stand, ballroom dancing with the Luigiana Band, and fireworks at 11:00 PM. The event takes place even in case of rain thanks to the covered structure.
